Portugal put on a fantastic show against Sweden late last year to qualify for the 2014 World Cup. Unfortunately, we soon realized, with heavy hearts, that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be missing in action and fans and enemies alike will not get a chance to see his magic, a.k.a Zlataner***

zlataner** – English – to zlatan – a verb officially recognized by the Swedish dictionary that was originally coined by French station Canal Plus, and is defined as “dominating both on and off the field

Zlatan agreed ever so humbly, stating, “”It was probably the last attempt to reach the World Cup with the national team for me. One thing is for sure, a World Cup without me is nothing to watch so it is not worthwhile to wait for the World Cup.” (cit. ESPN U.K)

Since the World Cup will be a mere shadow of what it could have been WITH the majestic Swede, the Brazilians have decided to invite him in order to spice things up.
